Therapy can often feel formal, clinical or even shrouded in mystery, but Anjali doesn’t believe it has to be that way. At its core, therapy is a connection between two humans. Anjali’s goal is to provide her clients with the compassion and support they need to navigate challenges and help them move forward. She believes therapy doesn’t have to be reserved for moments of crisis, diagnostic treatment, or seen as a last resort. It can also be for times when clients want to be proactive or simply have a space to talk about what’s on their mind – a space to heal without fear of judgment. It can also be where individuals discover their authentic voice, deepening their understanding of themselves and their needs. Anjali’s approach to therapy is focused on helping her clients feel heard and empowered to make their own decisions using various evidence-based strategies and techniques.

Born and raised in Mumbai, Anjali’s journey as a therapist began in 2017 when she discovered a deep passion for supporting others in their personal growth. As she progressed through her training, she became increasingly committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can reflect on their experiences. Having lived and worked in the UK for several years, Anjali has gained a broad perspective on mental health across cultural contexts. This experience, combined with her integrative training, allows her to work effectively with diverse populations in India and internationally. She understands the complexities of cultural identity, family dynamics, and societal expectations and she tailors her approach to ensure therapy is inclusive, accessible and relevant to each individual’s lived experience.

APPROACHGuiding you towards healing and self-discovery

Anjali uses an integrative approach, drawing interventions and methods from various therapeutic modalities to best suit each client’s unique needs. From a Person-Centered perspective, she values authenticity, unconditional positive regard and empathy, ensuring clients feel truly seen and heard. CBT informs her belief that individuals can build healthier emotional responses and coping strategies by understanding and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns. Attachment Theory guides her understanding of how early relationships shape attachment patterns, and she works with clients to develop secure, supportive connections with themselves and others. By integrating these perspectives, Anjali cultivates a therapeutic space where clients can explore their emotions, regulate distress and foster long-term emotional resilience.
